Tightening of an outside mirror?

Does anyone know of a way to tighten the driver's side door mirror on a 68 442? The base is tight to the door but ever time the door is closed the mirror moves. It doesn't flop around. It just needs to be a little less sloppy. Any ideas would be great.

Need to know more about the mirror. Post a pic please? Some can be adjusted; others can't without taking them apart.

Unfortunately, there's no good way. The pivot ball on the back of the mirror glass sits in a swaged cup. There's no adjustment provision.
