The models are excellent but the photography is what's really cool.
I thought he photoshopped the backgrounds or used background pics.
In the one pic he's outside with the model cars and buildings and is using forced perspective with real backgrounds. The lighting is great too, it's hard to duplicate sunlight like in a lot of those shots, probably is sunlight.
The weird thing is that there are no people.
It's like something out of the Twilight Zone or the movie On the Beach with no soundtrack, quick scene changes, cars just sitting with nobody in them on the streets, no customers in the businesses, no employees behind the counters.
If I was the last guy on Earth I would be cruising in all those rides.
No big deal if I broke my glasses like Burgess Meredith in that one Twilight Zone episode where he was the last one left.
You don't need glasses to drive with no cops and nobody else on the street and you can get books on CD.

Some of those pics looked so real it was like going back in time. I also gotta get my eyes checked, the detail work was fantastic!

There's a guy on youtube that does the same thing except he builds junkyard scenes. It's just as cool.
