The World's Most Beautiful Car?

I don't think so, but what do I know? I don't think I'd pay $6 million for it.

Looks like something Roger Rabbit would drive. It's a "no" from me.

For 6 mil, it had better fly!
Nice looking and unique car though. Just not worth that much in my opinion...

It is not really a car. It is a piece of art. I like the Roger Rabbit comment. I can see that.

I prefer the boat tail speedsters and the Cords of the 30's myself

I have seen one Bugatti Royale in my life (Peterson Museum). That is a beautiful car and the thing is huge. I agree with you Pat on the Auburn Boat Tail Speedster. I think that is probably one of the most beautiful of the era.

Most beautiful car is the '66 Lambourghini Miura.
Second is the '67 Jaguar XKE coupe.

Most beautiful is subjective but you have to keep in mind the work that original went into it and only with tools ava. in the late 1940's. Its an absolute one of a kind work of art that was probably one of the most expensive cars ever produced in its day. Things that are the most expensive owned by the rich and elite of the 20-40's that survived until today tend to be very expensive items today. Its priced accordingly IMO

I agree with Richard. Thats like asking any one of us who the most beautiful women in the world is. Most of us will all have different answers cause our tastes are different.

Would I pay $6mill for that car? NO
Would I kick it out of my garage? Hell NO

It's unique, but not the most beautiful. For $6 million you could buy hundreds of cars that you could actually drive and then build a massive garage to house them all. I would be terrified to drive that thing...

Classic Art Deco styling. I agree with Richard, considering the tools available at the time and imagining the thousands of skilled labor man-hours put into it it is an amazing piece of handiwork. I also agree that it is a piece of art as much as it is an automobile, and that the subjective nature of "most-beautiful-car category will not garner a majority of votes in agreement on almost any forum on the internet, much like those listed here.

I wasn't knocking the craftsmanship or the artistic value or even the beauty of the Delahaye.
The title of the thread is "The world's Most Beautiful car?".
I was simply commenting on what I think is the world's most beautiful car.

Actually, I think that Delahaye is gorgeous.
But, to me, it's just NOT the MOST gorgeous.
