1965 deluxe seat belt buckle

Hi, has anyone ever diassembled a 65 deluxe seat belt buckle? This is the type that is chrome and has the fisher coach on the buckle. I want to change the webbing from one buckle to another. Thanks

When I switched webbing years ago, I cut off the old stitching and swapped buckles.

Next step is to take the "new" webbing to an auto upholstry shop and have it resewn.

Don't mess with the buckle- save yourself a headache.

go to 442bro.com and click on how to do it, click on the seatbelt link, dont cut the belt, no headache

Ok, I stand corrected! Never did like messing with that spring.
