Decoding Delco-Remy Tilt Steering Column

My apologies if I'm placing this query in the wrong forum.

I'm seeking help deciphering a tilt steering column. I've pasted a picture below, and the marking is: Delco-Remy/ DR-2-63/ 281 3 1. Can anyone translate those markings?

This is actually from my '63 Studebaker Avanti, not an Oldsmobile, and it's not the stock Studebaker steering wheel. Avanti Motors, which produced Avantis after Studebaker went out of business, used a lot of GM parts, and I believe a previous owner of my car got this from Avanti Motors. My suspicion is this probably matches a lot of '64-'66 GM cars.

As much as I'm interested in the history itself, I'm posing this question because I want to know what turn signal switch would work. My hunch is that the turn signal switch I need would be the same as what is in '64-'66 Cutlasses, 442s, and Vista Cruisers. But I could be wrong as I so often am.

Thank you!

Delco-Remy DR-2-63 281 3 1

on the tilt column the turn sig switch is mounted on the side of the column under the dash and is operated by a small cable.like this: https://www.ss396.com/chevelle/GTS-6...0aAhuTEALw_wcB
