The dealer invoice states a vin starting with 344 but the othe paper work shows a vin starting with 336. Whats up with that? Nice car but I would be suspect with out more proof. Funny thing is the former owner that shows up on the paper work lived right around the corner from where I grew up.

Well here's what Linda looks like now. Not too bad for an older lady. My good friend Ed sent me these photos from the States. He has one of the nicest 69 H/Os I have ever seen (I tried to get him to join CO but he said no). Yes she did sign his spoiler.

Yep, from all of the info he has been collecting over the years I think that was the trend. Of all the 69's I've seen at show's & meet's I'd say at least half or probably more have been A/C cars.

Here is some information on that question:

There are others that are documented through additional paperwork kept by the original owners, etc.

As far as I know... unfortunately there is no 'neat' VIN list from Demmer, the list was compiled off of the Demmer documents that were found. The documents were shoved into a shoebox or two and were found in the classic spot, way back on a shelf somewhere in a warehouse. They weren't found until years later. So it certainly doesn't suprise me if a chunk was missing, could have been crammed into another box which went missing, who knows?
There was another list, a list of owners per dash plaque number, but that doesn't correspond to the VIN list and only recorded the individuals who took the time to fill out the dash plaque form and send it back in.

We are lucky to have her as a spokeswoman for Oldsmobile.
Jamesbo, I suggest you stay clear of her. For your own good. I fear you won't survive meeting her

Kurt, I for one did not take the "older lady" comment to be a slight or even a backhanded compliment, but rather an acknowledgement that the years have been kind to her.

On the other hand, Jamebo really would keel over

That's the best description I've heard of her yet. I've met her a few times. I swear she never seems to have a bad day. She's a bundle of energy, always pleasant, always friendly, always a sweetheart! She is a class act all the way.
