Dashpad Bead Moulding
Is there a good method to install this stuff?

I've worked trying to get it relatively straight until my thumbs are toast. Used the hot sun to try to soften it, but it still will not uncoil. I don't think those little plastic clips will hold it in place if I use the original holes.
Thx.

maybe try heating it with a hair dryer? I bought a moulding kit a few years back essentially just for the clips - my original moulding was in decent shape but for some worn clips which weren't staying put in their mounting holes.
I do recall noting the kit moulding was a bit stiff and wouldn't immediately straighten out for mounting without some kind of help.

As noted warm the trim up and use the clips in new holes in the dash groove. If you pre drill a small pilot hole first in the dash groove it makes the clip push in a bit easier. Patience is the key.
