Faded interior trim by windows 84 98

Is there any way to restore interior trim with a cut and polish or is it just going to be a replacement? If replacement is the only option, where can I find some new/ newoldstock / aftermarket options for a 84 98 regency brougham? Also is it a sin to paint it? Or are there some common paint schemes or options people do to make it less, awful looking? Really any options are appreciated. It's not a soon to do project but it's on my mind.

Do you have any pics?

There won't be any aftermarket reproductions for a 98 or Delta 88. You'll have to find good quality OE parts, NOS parts or restore the ones you have.

I painted much of my interior when I changed from sienna to black. Some areas hold up great. Others, not so much. Plastic pieces can get scuffed easily and will need touching up from time to time. I used Duplicolor vinyl mat black but it comes in many colors. But I don't know about having to match an existing color. I didn't have to do that since I changed the whole interior.

So my fade is on the door panel right below the window, which yours looks like its vinyl wrapped, which i could probably pull off, if not that painted wouldnt look too bad either. This gives me a little bit of an idea of what itd look like. Thanks
