One headliner bow has a sag to it
I have a 64 Starfire with a near mint headliner in it. No stains, no holes. It's nice and tight except at only 1 headliner bow. Where all the other bows are pretty tight to the roof panel the 2nd from the back is flatter, and lets the headliner sag down maybe 2 inches tops from the roof.
I would add a picture but you would hardly even see it. Unfortunately I see it.
I took some trim down to see about checking it out, but the edges are all glued so nice still. I'm not into ripping it all down just for this problem.
I do not think that the headliner "sleeve" ripped inside or anything. It seems like the bow just got tired. These don't clip into any tabs on the roof that help hold them up do they?
I was wondering about the interior trim that 63s use on the headliner bows. I like the looks of them, are those stainless? Do they just attach at the edges or what? If I could find a set, do you think they would add support for the bows and hold them up?
