Nice ride. What are the plans? I have a 66 Dynamic that I will start working on this Spring. Gonna be a cruiser. I will start a build thread when I get it to the house. Good luck with your project.

Thanks! Right now im going to restore it as much as I can. Needs a radiator which im waiting on now. I'd like to make it into a daily driver. I'd also like to put some airbags on it and drop it low with some white wall tires. Itll also be a cruiser. Would like to see your thread when its srarted.

Hey Greg N,
Well i did the usual cleaning and sanding of the surface rust then i treated it with ospho to kill the rust and prep for paint. The paint i used is from any auto parts store. It's a "spatter" paint that comes in black and white and the grey and white that i used. It's got more texture than original but it looks close enough to the color to blend in well. Like an idiot i used Primer that i had laying around (black) and it took me 4 cans to cover it up. I don't think it needs primer but i did it anyway. So anyways Spatter paint from advance auto parts in grey and white

trunk paint
Right on.Thanks for that. That sounds like a fairly simple solution and it looks really close to original in the pics.At some point water got into the side wells and some rust formed and peeled the original coating. The rest is pretty good so I will be trying to blend it a bit.I haven't peeled the mat back yet,but now that I see what you found underneath I'll be right on it!
Thanks again
Greg

I like your build, I'm presently redoing a 64 Olds 98 Custom Sport. I did some extensive body mods and have installed a 454 in it. I had Dakota Digital make me a dash panel and I've installed a Flaming River tilt column and wheel. I also had front disc brakes made up for it, and will put it on 18" wheels.

I also have a '64 CSC. I'm thinking about putting a 455 into a '64 Dynamic 88. What did you have to do to fit that engine in your car? What transmission did you use?
I want to put in an Olds 455 with a five speed manual transmission, at least that's my plan.

I made up a pair of motor mounts, and custom fit them to the frame, and I installed a 4L60E tranny with a TCI programmable controller. The 454 is actually 5" shorter and narrower than the 394. It is also 30lbs lighter.
