1965 F-85 revival

I purchased this car this week. It’s been sitting for quite some time. I’ve got it running now. So far I’ve only rebuilt the carb. I must admit that the Rodchester 4GC “Vapor Vent Passage” threw me for a loop! I’m doing some cleaning along the way..
Next thing is to get rid of those flex hoses!

Cool! Hope to see you get it drivable. I like the color combo. Back in the late sixties there was one just like it in my neighborhood.

Daytona sells a rebuild kit for that carb. It's the only carb I've ever rebuilt and it turned out pretty well.

Keep at it! THat's a cool car.

On the road!.The brakes have some air in them but other than that it does great. I put new 225/70 14 tires on some disc brake compatible wheels that I had, just in case I want to upgrade.

Where did you find tires that size with a white wall?

Ah, okay. You had posted earlier they were 225's. I've been wanting those in a whitewall for years but they are not around.

Oops! I don’t know what happened. I meant 215’s sorry!

I’ve put this car up for sale here if anyone is interested. Also, I recently put 5 gallons of 110 octane fuel in it. I adjusted the timing and carb accordingly, and man o man, can I tell the difference! Wow!

Well, if I can’t sell it, might as well spend some money on it!
