1967 cutlass build

Hi everyone I am Que and I am 14 and using my dads account
long story short I saw this car about 3 years ago and wanted a closer look. Couldn’t get ahold of the guy as my dad and I were looking for a projected for me. We ended up settling for a 73 nova basket case of a car. Well after a full year of collecting parts it came down to rebuilding major components. My dad had saved some funds as well as I and he ended up sitting me down and asked if I remembered a cutlass I had shown him and said it was available!
we went over cost for the new purchase and what the nova needed to be a running project.

well needless to say I now own a 1967 cutlass basket case lol but it runs and drives!

Its great when a young guy/kid gets excited over a beat up old car! Love the 67's and have my share of projects also.

Update. For my son project, this summer he will be getting his permit and hoping to start a general shop class next school year. he will be able to go over most of the safety items needed so this summer we will be patching the p/s floor board and quarter panels and trunk. He will be learning how to weld him self.

over the weekend I ended up scoring a 442 hood and I helped him install it.

looks pretty good but does meet a little work as they had hood pins and didn’t to a great Job of installing them imo.
