'64 SF Firewall-Forward Resto

Hi, folks.... I'm a bit bogged down in the resto project and need to get a new head of steam... a thousand irons in the fire. But overall -- even though I bit off way more than originally conceived (originally, "just a front suspension/steering/brakes clean-up/resto") -- it's going well.
Mission creep is a helluva thing -- my cup overrunneth. So although it'll be sweet when it gets back on the road, when you're a crew of one, it's a huge time investment; and like all of you, working on cars can't always be the #1 item on the daily agenda. Also venturing into uncharted waters, such as doing the starter & steering-gear rebuilding myself.
So anyhoots, I'm posting a couple starter pic's here to solicit your comments, input, & encouragement... I have way more pic's, but need to take a couple news ones to show where the project is today, and then get 'em all up on my Flickr account. (I've done quite a bit more to it since these were taken.)
Best,
John

Here's what the car itself looks like as of yesterday.

That is a lot of work but with all those parts removed you can detail everything perfectly. Good luck.

Yeah, that's the plan, Don. The good part is that all the sheetmetal you don't see is restored and is ready to go back. And fortunately, there was only one rust spot, and that was the back of the battery tray, and some pitting on another piece it mates with. The undercoat is a huge PITA, BTW...

So is yours done for all practical purposes? How's the Monaco wagon?
