68 Toronado vaccum parts

Hello everyone, it has been a while since I have posted. I am still working on my ‘68 Toro and have gotten to the vacuum system and have a question about the remote control valve for the headlights. I am going to post a pic of it but my question is, is there something that goes on the back of it? It seems to be open to the air but the factory service manual doesn’t show it. Thanks in advance… Mark

Is this missing something?

Not that it will get a ton more views, but post up specific Toronado questions in the Toronado section and you might get faster responses.

For your first question, you're missing the vacuum distribution block that is critical to making your headlights work. Go to this thread and scroll down to post #15 and start from there https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...lights-175771/

The second appears to be the transmission kickdown switch, but I am not the expert on '68's, which are different than previous models.
