Comp cams 42-224-4

Hello,

anyone running comp cam 42-224-4? I’ve got a mild cam flat tappet in the 455, but want to upgrade.... lifters and push rods ideas? Stall is 2600

I’m a bit late here, but second the value of a wideband 02 sensor. One of the best tuning aids I’ve got across 2 cars and around 40 years of keeping these cars.

Dig around under my user name and I think you’ll find some of my 455 street qjet combinations. I generally like 73 or 74 jets and 48 or 49 primary rods on my late era (75 and up) 170 series qjets.

I like the later qjets for 800 cfm capacity and the center fuel inlet. I believe the earlier side fuel inlet to be more prone to leaking. Most especially after a rebuild.
