"57" Fiesta

"57" Fiesta
I'm in the process of bringing a "57" Fiesta Wagon back from the dead. The running gear is in great shape w/orriganal J2 engine (tripple carbs) and transmission. the trim is in place and in really good condition also. Its a frame off resto. (lots of rust) and I plan to do some mild custom modifications. The body is ready for Media Blasting and I am begining work on the chassis/suspension, which brings me to my first question of my first post.
I would like to ask if anyone is aware of aftermarket tubular control arms for the "57" ? I believe the 57 Buick had the same suspension. I will post pics as the project progresses.
Papajo.

Welcome aboard. I'm no help on your question, but there are plenty of guys on here that will chime in and maybe one of them will have your answer. You may want to consider starting a new thread with your build in the major builds and projects when you get a chance.

A J2 in a Fiesta? Am not going to say it didn't happen, but the likelihood of the factory producing such is pretty darn slim. I see more J2's at shows today then were ever pushed out of the factory in the day, and that I do makes more more than suspicious.

J2 or not ?
I could be wrong but it appears the motor in my fiesta is a j2 and it for sure looks like the original equipment on the car. I will have to research the vin & block numbers to be sure. I will post some pics as soon as I can figure out how, I have been trying but my jpeg files won't upload on this site. I could use some help !
