Well the info is kinda vague. A cold/cool engine needs a richer mixture than a warm one to stay running. It could be a choke problem or an adjustment on the carb. You may want to take off the air cleaner and spray all the linkages on the carb with WD40 or the like and work the throttle by hand while the engine is not running. Make sure everything there works freely and nothing is sticking. A bad accelerator pump on he carb can cause stalling when you press the gas pedal.

Welcome to the site, we do like pictures. Did you drain and clean the fuel system first? Is it stock? Whats been done to the engine, last time it was tuned? Basically your saying the car is broke, what could be wrong...

As others have said there are a myriad of things that can be wrong but first of all do you have any mechanical skills and someone that can help you? Some jobs are best done with help. If yes try having someone spray a fuel source (starting fluid, Wd40, gas in a pump spray etc. down the car throat as it begins to stall while the other runs the starter and throttle, if it picks up for a few seconds you have isolated it to a fuel shortage, either fuel pump, plugged line tank, carb or filter.

Next if it runs with a squirt of gas but dies shortly after I would pull the gas line from the carb remove the coil wire (so it can't start) and place a Coke bottle over the gas line and turn the engine over for about 15 seconds. You should have at least 1/4 bottle of gas in the bottle. If not its either the fuel pump, partially clogged line or tank. If no gas just keep working your way towards the tank. My money is on a bad fuel pump but because it has sat with old gas in the tank it could be any of the above. You might try that and let us know what develops. It doesn't sound as though it is something to serious that we can't walk you through it ....Tedd

There are really lots of things it could be. Most have been pointed out. It could also be a cracked fuel line that is sucking air or a clogged sock on the fuel pickup in the gas tank. We really don't have enough to trouble shoot it. We are just kind of telling you most of the things it could be.

Sitting a while + stalling may = one or more blocked carburetor jets (especially idle jets).

If the fuel lines are clear and without leaks, and the points and condenser and the spark plug wires are okay, I'd take apart the carburetor and blow out the jets.
