Hello from Germany

Let me introduce myself. My name is Thorsten (Todde) and I'm from Germany, live near to Stuttgart which is the town where Mercedes Benz Headquater is located.
For my entire life Im in things which got engines, no matter if there on 2 or 4 wheels.Started up back in the days with heavy 2 Stroke engine tuning and went over to 4 wheels (mostlikely german cars) and now very new to the Muscle Car szene.
Also I m working in the Motorsport business as a profession.
I ve bought a very nice, new to me, 71 Cutless S 350.This car came out of Ohio, went to the Netherlands and then to Germany.Sadly I dont know anything about the prewowner and the history of my car.
Anyway this car is phantastic and it runs nice and strong and it is on German Roads the coolest thing outa space!
Im very happy withh it and got some minor thing to change on it and really like to dive in deep into these awesome cars and his possibilities.

Hope that you are patience with me and my stupid questions, promise to use the search function on the board.

Greetings
Todde

Welcome! Nice looking car, keep us updated with your plans and progress. Are you running any classic MB's?

Hi Sugar Bear,
Thanx for the welcome.

No, not classic one but an SL55 AMG.
Which is already a kind of a "youngtimer".

Welcome aboard. I like the white/black color scheme, it is really sharp looking.

Very nice! Must be great having a car like this in a foreign country. Lots of great people here, plenty of help and guidance.

That car is a Head-Turner anywhere. But, I imagine that it REALLY gets attention in Germany. Congratulations!

Welcome aboard, Todde! I really like both of your cars! I bet your new Olds really gets a lot of attention out on the 'Bahn. As Phoenix8990 alluded, and if you don't mind, how much does an Olds such as yours cost in that part of the World?

Hallo Olds64, Schwäbisch Gmünd ist dirkte Nachbarschaft! :-)....das heißt ich brauche ab jetzt nicht mehr Englisch schreiben Ich hoffe es hat dir bei den Schwaben gefallen?

But to be fair I keep going on write in English.
I know TRW very well, trustable company in automotive parts in good quality!!
Always choose them as solution for OEM Parts or even they are the producer for OEM parts.

It is good to be here, meet some people which are interested in Oldsmobile and all around this topic.

Welcome and congrats on finding some US iron over there. It is something really amazing to see American muscle overseas. It has happened to me a few times and its amazing, they really stand out. Looking forward to seeing more of your ride.

Servus Thorsten und griaß'di aus der Wachau in AT!

da hast du dir ja eine sehr geile Kiste angelacht! Traumhafte S350. Der SL ist aber nicht weniger leiwand.

Regarding Oldsmobile knowledge: this is the place to ask! Haven't seen any other forum with such excellent mood of sharing knowhow if someone with less experience is asking!
