New from Georgia
Greetings, I would like to start by thanking everyone for the info from this site that helps us all keep our cars going strong. I got my first olds in 2006. A 69' 442 in good condition, a great project car even though I wasn't looking for one at the time. I was going to put it together for my son but when a 455 was offered in trade for the 350 it became mine real quick.

Welcome to our site! You're Jamesbo's friend, huh?? Jamesbo will be happy there's another '69 on board!!! He's been quiet today - maybe celebrating Fat Tuesday with the Jambalaya, and then a nap... LOL!! Can't wait to see some pics of the car!!!!

Thanks for the welcome Cutlassgal. The 350 ran but I couldn't pass the chance to have a 455 in my 442. After a bare bones rebuild (turn crank, new bearings, rings, hone block,etc...)it started on the first hit I really enjoy driving it.

Welcome Donny,
Glad ya got things figgered out.
Sorry you missed fried chickne livers yesterday but we'll do it again soon.
When Citcapp wakes up on the left coast he's gonna be down that we 69 owners are taken over the world. He's on of those 'fat fender guys"
Glad you're with us.
