New guy bringing back 69 convertable
Last year I decided to start working on the 69 convertable that has been in my fathers pole barn for ever. It is now running and I have got lots of ?s. Both bolts that held the ERG in place where broke, and I welded a plate over the hole. is it imparitive to hook this back up to I believe was a vacume line. The engine is stock with a Rochester 2 barrel. Iwould be greatly appreciative if anyone had a good diagram of where the vacume lines all go. all where missing when the car was purchased 20 years ago. I am eager to get this back on the road.

I firmly believe you've come to the right site to learn about your Olds and how things go together. For starters, I strongly urge you to buy a Chassis Service Manual and an assembly manual for your car. You can find these items in reprint on ebay, or you can download them yourself at www.wildaboutcars.com. They will show you where all the vacuum runs go, along with most everything else you need to know or are curious about. You've got a real keeper with your convertible. Welcome to the site, and post some pictures when you can!
