New from Salt Lake City
I have been on Cadillacowners/forums since '05 and have had so much help from them with my '91 Fleetwood and '99 ETC.
This forum looks just as usefull and friendly and I also love Oldsmobiles. I have and '84 Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS that I hope to start restoring this spring and an '01 Alero of which I have been a member of aleromod.com for about a year.
These forums are fantastic and it is great to see so many Olds fans and their rides.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope I can contribute too. Im not a know it all but I also dont ask dumb questions. Or Im not a dumb person asking questions....
Im going to rebuild my 307, I may do a 350 if I can find one for a good deal but Im having a hard time finding any. Im not looking to build a tire burner just a nice rebuild, I remember the 307 doing pretty well when I drove it (8 years ago) and I thought of putting the 442 cam with the performer manifold and tweaking out the rochester until i can afford fuel injection. Befor I parked her I rebuild the 200r4 and already has 3.23 gears. So Im hoping for a nice almost spec restoration with some upgrades...
I just love the car and I have to build it cause I just cant part with it.

If you find a 350 to put in your Delta you will be very pleased. The 307 isn't generally a performance engine, but it does have potential as an Oldsmobile V8. If you put a cam, aftermarket intake, headers, and carburetor on it you would get spirited performance from it. Welcome to our site.
