Welcome to CO Cutlass fleet owner.

Everybody's going to want to see pics.

I'm just finishing up my Vista and I know what it costs too, that's a real good deal.

I never figure on making anything on a car but to restore a wagon is a real labor of love.
Everbody wants them and says they're worth a lot but nobody's willing to put their money where there mouth is.

Welcome to our site!!! Yep... we need to see pics of your fleet!!!! I took my drivers test in my brother-in-laws 72 Cutlass, and I was hooked!!! I drove a 72 up until 1990, (not one as nice as "The Prettiest One" I have now, of course!) but I sure loved em! Then I went to an 85 Cutlass, then to an 84 Delta 88 and an 85 Delta 88 , which I traded in on a 1998 Intrigue in 2001. God I love Oldsmobiles!!!!!! Glad you decided to join us!

Welcome to ClassicOldsmobile. If you do try to sell the vista, good luck and hope it goes to someone who truly loves Oldsmobiles.

$6,500 would be a pretty good price. The Old Cars Price Guide puts the value of a '72 Vista Cruiser in showroom condition, which it sounds like yours is close to, at right around $6,000. Two or three-seat make a difference of about $100 in value (three seat worth more).

You might be interested to know that there were almost exactly twice as many three-seat '72 Vista Cruisers made as there were two-seat (21,340 vs. 10,573). The original base price of the two-seat was $3,866, and for the three-seat it was $4,008.

They are a bargain right now. I'll probably never sell mine unless I can come up with one as clean and better, like a factory 455 with duals 4 on the floor three-seater.
That was pretty good money back then, no wonder nobody in my neighborhood had one.

With those production numbers it's weird how most of the ones around are two seaters?
