Not so new
Had a gold 1967 442 for 15 years. Had some engine builder issues. Split milk, not here to bust anybody's chops. Engine's fnal build was by Cutlassefi. It ran very well. Sold car 2020. Car in South Carolina, now has EFI. Did the covid entrapment pretty much like everyone else. Bored to death. Bought another Olds. 1971 Cutlass supreme, Sienna/Sienna, 350/2v, 2:56 rear. Very nice car, in excellent shape. Timing was only issue I've had. Pulled and rebuilt stock dizzy. Previous owner had installed a pertronix conversion. timing now 10 initial, 35 total, 54 degrees w/ vacuum advance limited. Points and capacitor in glove box just in case. 2GC carb has rebuilt sticker, but choke needs a little attention. I am satisfied with the way the 350 runs. Now 75, and have accepted fast is no longer safe for a this diminished man. Happy as can be with this car. Has dual exhaust w/glass packs. Sounds like a truck. Already bought 2 magnaflow mufflers to mellow it out. Cold air, and no heating issues. Still a member of two car clubs here on the gulf coast of Alabama. Glad to be back in the Classic Oldsmobile fold. Always enjoyed reading the posts from others and the informative answers. Will endeavor to be a positive member. Plan on posting some pics very soon. Would also like to make the Olds national in Nashville. Born and raised there. Would be great to finally meeting some of you.

Yep, a L69 car, 4speed. Pork chop was a big help in getting that car in good shape. Sold it to a guy in Birmingham. Nice car. Woulda, coulda, shoulda that we've all had. Had a beautiful 70 442 white/white gold stripes, make believe W30. What a great car. Have had some health issues. Right arm and leg only work, hence auto's only. Reflexes slower than smoke off of poop. Certain years of memory are gone. Three packs a day for 30+ years, coupled with a 55 gallon drum of spirits. I guess I can blame someone for my decline in health. Me ! Accepted blame and moved on. Grandpa car smooth, quiet, pleasing. Plan on QA1 rear sway bar to temper some of the turning sway. Maybe a little tinkering here and there. Gaskets seeping some. Starting nuts and bolts one handed is a process that requires innovative uses ones mouth/teeth. Olds gives me purpose. Sorry about the rambling.

We met at a car show in Franklin, TN 20 + years ago. I always remembered your dark green 66, nice car. The 71 is nice as well. We all go through seasons in our lives. Keep on keeping on.
