I have two Tic Toc Tacs that I want to have both rebuilt. Who is the best/reliable person I can send these to have resorted back to full working condition. If you can post a name, number or email/website of this person that would be great. Also if you had work done or someone else you know had work done to there Tac, I like some feed back. I just want to make sure they get done right because these are hard to find.

Hey Randy do you remember how much it was for the rebuild, and about how long it took. I need to have mine rebuilt, neither the clock or tac is working.

The price varies depending upon what they have to do. If it's something simple, it can be as little as $75 plus shipping. But, if they have to replace the printed circuit (around $275 when I had mine done) or repair the clock (my clock worked), then it would be more. They are very friendly on the phone and I'd call to find out their current prices (mine went in about two years ago). In my case, the women that answered the phone connected me directly with one of the techs that actually work on the gauges and that was helpful as well.

Turn-around time varies as well. They told me a lot of people send their gauges to them in the spring, wanting to have them back quickly for the summer cruising season. Accordingly, they get swamped so turn-around time is longer. If you sent your gauges in now, though, I think they would tell you it would be 3-4 weeks turn-around time.

I was very pleased with their work.

call year one or check hemmings both around though a few years back 200 dollars mine came back excellent and painted new face also.
