Beautiful Olds!

I'd suggest a different company other than Cragar for new wheels. I contacted them to get wheel dimensions when I put new wheels on my 71 98 and their customer service agent was rude!

Nice looking ride!!! Welcome! Once I get some control arm bushing issues worked out, I'll either be juicing or bagging mine. These cars look good low!

THE MAKEOVER HAS BEGUN. FINALLY AFTER WAITING 2 WEEKS, MY 17" CRAGERS CAME IN. I WILL BE REMOVING THE AIRBAGS THIS WEEKEND AND INSTALLING COIL SPRINGS AND SHOCKS ON THIS CRUISER. I LOOK FORWARD TO ENJOYING IT THIS COMING EASTER SUNDAY.

I WILL BE SEARCHING FOR A ROCKER MOLDING TO FIT THIS OLDS. I WILL APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE ON FINDING SOME.

Those wheels and tires are a huge upgrade. As a fellow 64 owner, if I was going to keep my car, those are very close to the style wheel I would choose.

Looks a lot better, though you know, I kinda got to like that low rider look after I got used to seeing them while I was in the Navy in San Diego in the late 70's. I still think the car looks better with your new tires/wheels- Very Nice!

Sharp car! Ditching the 13" lowrider look was a significant visual improvement. Get a shot of the interior. I'd try just the wheel well moldings first. That would be a veryclean look.
FYI, CAPS LOCK ON in the computer world means you are YELLING AT US...lol
Save that for the grandkids when they are jumping around in the car while you are driving.

Thank you for all the compliments. Yes I agree what a big difference the wheels made. I have removed the airbag suspension it had and am awaiting for control arm bushings to complete the coil spring install.

Does anyone know if rear coils take some kind of threaded retainer to affix onto upper spring perch ?

There should be a metal doughnut with a bolt that fits snug with the top of the coil. You have to use a wrench to hold the end in the coil and another on the top.

It'll be similiar to what's on top of the list here. To match an Oldsmobile might be tricky, but I would think that all GM makes would use the same. You know how it is with these cars though. :/
