I haven't been able to find any headers for my 69-98.

Any ideas on how i can convert it to a dual exhaust?

I'm not terribly familar with these big cars. I know it can't be done on a 69 88.

One problem that comes up a lot on these, is the power steering gear box. It location will prohibit headers from fitting. I know many are referred to "front" steer or "rear" steer by the location of the gear box in relationship the front axle mid-line. This may be the problem.

As for dual exhaust, I think a cap can be bolted or welded shut on the cross over tube on the manifold. Then dual pipes can be run out the back. I had a shop weld mine shut on my cutlass. I don't know of any bolt on dual kits for the BIG cars. This is where I would consult a local exhaust shop.

I was thinking about maybe using Exhaust Manifolds from an 88 or a Toronado Would that work?

You'll also need to find or make a shifter link. The factory DE cars used a curved one to clear the exhaust. I really thought Thornton would have made those by now to go with their S manifold.

As RocketRaider pointed out the Thornton exhaust manifold is the easiest way to put true duals on an early B body. When you take the original manifolds out do your self a favor and take the passenger's side exhaust manifold to a good welding shop so they can weld closed the crossover port. Cutting the crossover tube and welding it shut is ugly and can eventually leak. Might as well do it the right way the first time.

FWIW, my '70 LS HAD the curved shift linkage, so you may be OK there too. Honestly I did not notice a big change going to duals, but it does sound sweet. Couldn't hurt mileage either.

69Convert, I'm curious about those rims. Any more pics or suggestions when it comes to what will fit on the 98's of this era? I work for Discount Tire Company (corporate, not in one of the stores) and I have yet to do any real research on what would work, but since I can get them at cost I'd like to do something.

When i did my 68 convert I bought the manifolds ,both sides from Thortons and got my exhaust from a place in Floridia on E-Bay . I will check my records and mail you the address . anyone want to see the restoration for my 68 Olds 98 convert mail me your address and I'll send you an invitation to wal-mart photo site . I did not have to use the curved shifter rod only had to put a small dent in pipe at that area cause pipe goes under rod .

When I did my dual exhaust on my 68 -98 convert I got oth manifolds from Thortons LH - S RH -W . They both have full flow without any restrictions or baffels .I dressed them with a air grinder and matched the ports to the heads . Made a heat sheild for over the starter and used my factory heat sheild for the air breather with a little bending . they sound great and let the heat out.
I got the pipes and mufflers from KLASSKOLLECTION@EARTHLINK.NET in Floradia all aluminized 6-5-2006 cost $374.00 I used 66 Toro stainless tips with straight pipes under bumper, they look great and sound like a muscle car .
Also if you have a console shifter you wont need to worry about problems with linkage . I had to put a small dent in pipe to clead the linkage.
