some pics 64 olds 98 vert, now 4 speed
here's some pics that was suggested i put here in non olds powered cars. its a 350, 4 bolt main, 60 over, edlebrock aluminum heads, lunati cam, scorpion roller rockers a 12 inch clutch and muncie 4 speed. I made clutch pedals fit from 74 nova, brake booster and master from 05 ranger so i had a small booster to clear mechanical linkage for clutch, made engine mount stands from 1/4 inch steel plates and gate hardware, made perches for trans crossmember so could attach crown vic crossmember under trans and has humps for exhaust clearance, used corvette exhaust manifolds so center drops give me exhaust pipe clearance, made a remote location from steel for clutch pivot ball so will clear steering column, used nova z bar, cut and drilled new hole in top lever as well as bend to get all in line with fork, engine, etc.. , cut hole in left fender well as an access for z bar removal and install and made outside z bar bracket from original 394 power steering pump bracket. drill twist and attach to frame and clutch works good, full release. set up front of engine like 71 chevelle, a/c compressor on driver side with a6 compressor and brackets, still have power steering and air. original cruise unit also still in place so i guess i will eventually see if it still works. i also had to cut floor to make room for linkage rods and shifter.
Just in case you did not see my other post. i saved this car that was rotting in a field for the last 18 years with no engine. if i had a better budget i would have went with olds 455 but this happened for a reason. i had 4 speeds, small blocks, pedals etc...now i have a hurst equipped 64 98 vert, 4 speed. now mocked up and will start disassembly to make it all permanent and paint it. if pics attach, it will show exterior and interior color schemes. paint will follow lines down around hood along peaks of fenders. there are a couple pics i cannot get right side up.
Hetr is interior new carpet and such but not finished
