FOR SALE 1960's 14 inch Chevrolet Impala wire wheel/spinner wheelcovers
NO LONGER OFFERED WITH SHIPPING! PICK-UP IN SOUTHEAST OHIO ONLY! $250.00 for the set!
A set of 4 early 1960's used Chevrolet 14 inch Wire wheel/Spinner hubcaps in very nice condition.
My Father dickered for a set of these on a new Fire engine red 1963 Chevy Impala Convertible back in the day. When he traded the '63 off for a 1966 Impala he moved them to that car. In 1968 he bought a new Impala Custom Coupe and since it had fender skirts, he let the hubcaps go with the '66 Impala and that's the last time I saw them.
I always liked the look of those hubcaps so a number of years ago I bought a set of 4 and planned on hanging them on my new garage walls. Now that I'm retired, I've decided to sell them off to fund other things and hope someone has a vintage car to install them on (since odds are I will never get a car).
Ask any questions you may have before you offer to buy them. Ask questions via a PM.
First unqualified “I’ll take them” posted in ad, followed by a PM gets them! I don’t accept Pay Pal. Cash or USPS money order at time of pickup is only accepted payment See pictures of the actual hubcaps below. Earliest Date/Time stamps of any forum posts takes the item.
Cross posted!!
Thanks for looking!

Not common and I had truthfully forgot the 63 WWC looked like this. I have seen them more on Corvairs than anything else.
Knew I should have got my cousin's 63 when his widow decided to sell it!

Yeah, they are really nice covers. They looked especially good on my parents Fire Engine Red 1963 Impala Convertible. I'm hoping my brother has a photo of it in the pictures he got from my Mother's home when she passed!
The Corvair WWC were 13 inch I believe...

Bump! These beauties could be used on any Chevrolet/GM vehicle with 14 inch rims (and no fender skirts LOL)!
I could use the funds for things I need for my 442 restoration!

I priced shipping from two providers and it was pretty darn expensive ($85.00 for one shipper and $73.00 for the other) and probably won't get any cheaper soon.

For a few weeks, I'll offer these for $300.00 shipped to the lower 48 states. I priced shipping from two providers and it was pretty darn expensive ($85.00 for one shipper and $73.00 for the other) and probably won't get any cheaper soon so I'll offer this shipped price for at least two weeks.

Well, as stated.....I don't accept pay Pal. I buy things with Pay Pal but because of issues in the past, I do not accept Pay Pal as payment. I have very little problems from folks regarding my request for payment using a USPS Money Order. Another antique car parts forum states from the owners not to pay with a personal check or a USPS Money Order. I can understand the personal check because by sending one you're giving people you don't know account and routing information for your checking account. A USPS Money Order is safe as safe can be IMO! Anyone who buys from me sends through the mail.
If you change your mind and are interested, let me know. Thanks for your interest.

For sure it won't happen! Pay Pal still has some money sitting that I won't do what they want to get to it. And I did Pay Pal for decades as a seller on Ebay! I also don't sell on Ebay anymore d/t to things they don't do that I don't like!
I'm looking for a good shot of my father's Fire Engine Red 1963 Impala Convertible that I can have blown up to poster size and if I still have them, I'll hang them on the wall below the photo!
Have a good evening,

Well, I don't and never will so don't wait for that to happen. I will buy with Pay Pal but do not sell with it. I still have money (small amount) sitting there because I will not ever provide the information that they want from me. And Ebay would also be an easy way to sell things (member since 1999 but I do not like their rules and information they require! I've sold stuff recently for less than I could get on Ebay or less than if I took Pay Pal.

If you want the wire caps how hard is it to go to the post office and buy a money order for payment? For that matter plenty of convenience stores do Western Union or other MO services.
From past experience PayPal sucks. Broke me of using electronic payment services.

I find it very hard to believe that you still keep coming back and asking about them especially since I've said I will never sell with Pay Pal! USPS Money Order payment is more secure than Pay Pal as I see it. I have stated many times that I will buy with Pay Pal but not sell with Pay Pal since they want me to give them more banking information than I wish to give out. If you'd read post #33 in this thread, you wouldn't have had to clip from another post I made about buying with Pay Pal but not selling with it!! My choice. I still have a small (relatively) amount of money sitting in Pay Pal that I will never get! BTW, if I want something and a seller wants a USPS MO payment only sent, I go buy one and send it. Done it many times on many forums!
I also will buy on Ebay but do not sell on Ebay anymore because of their seller unfriendly terms in my opinion. Been a member there since 1999!
SO, let's just state this ......I will not sell them to you using Pay Pal, so please stop coming back and harassing me here! Your lips move but I can't hear what your saying!
Matter of fact......BYE!
