Sold! Corvair Turbo Sold!
Anyone here have a buddy who's into Corvairs? I got this in an estate sale. There's a piece of tape on it with the price of $200 and saying it's rebuilt. At some point it was stored in a damp environment as the cast iron has rust flakes on it. If I were going to use something like this, I'd be inclined to take it apart, inspect, and put new gaskets in while re-assembling. I'm guessing the price on the tape is old, but since it needs cleaned up before using That's the price I'd like for the parts. Let me know if you have any questions or want to see any other views. Price is $200 plus shipping from Oregon. If your close enough to pick up in person I'd take $175 for it. John

That is a 1963 Corvair Spyder turbo and a Carter 0-1507 YH carburetor, proper for 1963 too.
Does the note say who rebuilt it?
You can post the pictures and price in the for sale section of corvairforum.com
I'll do a post and link this thread. More exposure should be good, right?
