I am in 394 helll
Guys i am in need of some major help with my 63 starfire. Been dealing with drivabilty issue car will hesitate under moderate accelleration but once past that it cruises nice. And while tuning tuning rebuilt carb to try and elimnate the hestitation i blew the water pump leaking from weap hole. I changed pump and now have leak at the bottom bolt of waterpump the on that for some reason is different size then the rest. So now 2 issues for a olds guru the help with. I am in chicago area. Any help would be much appreicated.

The 1963 Oldsmobile Service Manual is the best place to look for information.
If you don't have one, you can get one here;

You do have to be sure all the bolts go in the right places.
Maybe a little liquid thread sealer on the leaking bolt may help.
Follow the torque specs in the service manual.

Sounds like on your carb problem the accelerator pump may be going south. Quite common if your carb was rebuilt with an old kit without alcohol resistant cups, cup should be dark blue in color.... Tedd
