I tried attaching with the rubbers that come with. First time I put down window the U shaped quarter window seals grabbed the reveal and ripped them off the windows.

then I ordered the fancy rubber tape. It only held up a few times and again the U shaped seals grabbed the bottom and peeled the reveal off. Maybe it was wrong thickness and wrong width? I can’t find the link to where I bought them but I found it in here somewhere.

all the pounding and tapping eventually ruined the reveal and bent them and so I ordered new ones.

how do I attach the reveal and make sure they NEVER come off.

I had the same issue of the U-shaped seal pulling the weather stripping off. There is a thin rubber piece that wrap around the glass before the chrome piece goes on. I had left mine off but I think it is really sticky and probably is needed. I too will need a new piece having split the end. It just seems the chrome trim piece is a bit long on mine. Have you fixed the issue? If so tell me what you did.

Glass setting tape you can get it online. The correct size is 3/32. Just did it worked great.

This is the correct stuff, and factory correct. Works like a champ! Very happy with mine.
