1963 oldsmobile F85 first one I've seen or let alone owned been cleaning it out and been doin research needing ne and all info I can get for this everything from info to parts or even idea of where to start on it... all original sat atleast 45 yrs or more have to go get that's manual transmission if thieves ain't got it yet from wat the old guy said that I got it from.. so to all my oldsmobile brothers and sisters out there all and any help would be great
Joe Padavano and Eric Jensen have 62s which are similar enough they'll know where to steer you.
Four-speed is a big advantage on this car as you don't have to fool with the baby Slim Jim automatic they had.
The aluminum 215 V8 was used by English Rovers for decades and the Brits have all kinds of goodies for this engine. If you can't find the original 4-speed they'll have figured out a way to adapt a 5 or 6 speed to it.
Cool little Olds. One thing that concerns me is looks like front end may have been in water up to the brake drums.

Nice find! There are bellhousings available to fit the Mustang T5/World class made for TVRs here in the UK. There are new bellhousings available for the 5 speed LT77 gearbox, 2WD only. These came in the Rover SD1, Triumph TR7 5 speed, TR8, Morgans and earlier Rover V8 engined TVRs and some LDV Freight Rovers, but I don't think you had those over in the USA.
The T5 or new Tremec is a much better trans anyway. If you find a Camaro T5, it has a usefully higher ratio first gear, but I think the input shaft is different and may require a different bellhousing or spacers. Over there, the Ford trans is cheap and available, you want to find the Mustang or Fox body 5.0.
