Brake conversion kit
#2
Best thing to do is source a complete disc brake setup from any full-size Oldsmobile years 1969 - 1970. 1967 and 1968 can work but they use a more complex 4-piston style caliper. As far as rotors go, units from a 2006 (?) Cadillac CTS can be machined to fit the disc brake hubs you have as part of your sourced used parts if the O/E rotors are too thin. There is quite a bit written on this subject on Classic Oldsmobile. Engineers such as Joe P. have explained why they do not like conversion kits if any can be sourced. Note these are not my pictures, but they are very valuable ones from other members in the group who have pioneered the upgrade for the full-sized Oldsmobile cars 1965 to 1970. I will be undertaking this project as well on our own 1966 Ninety-Eight LS when time and health permit. Hopefully others will chime in on this subject and give better direction. Please be advised that full size Chevy parts (or any other GM divisions) will not work despite what some might say. Best regards, Howie.

Re-drilled Cadillac CTS rotor machined to fit hub from O/E disc brake assembly.
