Emergency brake assembly
Has anyone ever disassembled an emergency brake pedal assembly on my 62 Starfire convertible. Mine is rusty and ugly. It is functional but an eyesore.

Look up rust removal by electrolysis, it works and wouldn’t have to be disassembled unless there is any stainless. Stainless off gases chromium, don’t allow it in an electrolysis bath. Did a window regulator on a ‘35 Ford in it with impressive results.

It's worth a try. Looked it up on youtube. They used a couple different mixtures of ingredients. One was water, vinegar and baking soda. Two was water and baking soda only. Which one did you use.
