1960- something Shifter and Console

I took this out of a 71 but I'm not sure which years it fits. The console is in pretty good shape but the slot in top plate was lengthened somewhat. If you know these years you'll know better than me. The shifter is also in pretty good shape. Someone was fooling with it to get it into the 72 but it still looks good. I cleaned and painted the shifter.

Sold as is.. $200.00 plus the ride.

Tony,
I believe the wood grain is from a '69 but those consoles & shifters fit from '67?-'69 Cutlass/442.

Yes, I agree 1967-69. Most have pits in the metal of the top plate, yours looks pretty nice. John

One more thing, your console is for the 3 speed automatic. If the shifter matches the console it will have the detent for the Th350, TH400 vs. the 2 speed. John

It is a 3 speed gate but someone had been fooling around with the console top plate opening the slot longer and filing on the gate. It does come with the harness also. I'll trade it for the large vista glass and the surrounding roof sheetmetal..

The fact that the gear indicator says "LOCK PARK" pegs this as a 1969 console, but yes, this style came in the 1967-69 cars (and not just A-body cars).

As previously stated it is a 69 console and shifter. The wood grain trim and shift indicator are also available new for this year and for 67-68 to make it correct for those two years.

Joe is also correct it came in other cars as well. I had a 68 Toronado with this console in it. Had additional parts to it but the console was the same.

Joe & Larry,
Thanks for the added info. I did not know you could get this in a Toronado. What about the Delta 88 custom, did it use the same console or same top with a different bottom like the '70 Delta 88 Custom?

Same console body used in both the D88 and the Toro with buckets. The Toro application used an additional adapter piece on the bottom to conform to the Toro's flat floor. I don't remember offhand if the D88 required an adapater or not.

i think the shifter is a 71-72, there is no nss and the base is different than 69-70.
the chrome handle is the same 69-72 but the pressed in pin for the cable (and nss) is longer on 69-70 handles

here is a 69 shifter

200.00 plus shipping, any takers. I don't really want to deal with e-bay.
