(Pending/Sold)68-70 Oldsmobile 455 complete take out engine
Just pulled out of 1968 442 to install performance built engine. I do not know if it was original to the 442 but it is 68 to 70 block with E code heads. 3500 U.S. dollars. Will consider offers. Located in Bemidji, MN 56601. We can deliver for reasonable price.
442 had original 4 speed so this should be correct flywheel for that application
Car ran and drove well. Engine was pulled to install a built up stroker
I googled this number and found 68-70 application 455 factory rated at 510 ft lbs of torque.
Bellhousing for 4 speed available for 100 bucks
All accessory brackets included. Quadrajet Carberator included, may be original, I will post inages on request.
Edlebrock torqer intake installed at some point in the past. All is as it was running in vehicle. We havent broken any gaskets or opened it up so your rebuilder can see everything as it was running.
E code heads, info i found online said these where very good torque factory heads, and correct to engine.

Carb info
The numbers on the carb read "7041251 R6 1980" Which as understand it makes it a 1971 model federal standard 4 barrel, for an Oldsmobile, with a manual transnission, produced in on July 17th 1970 This appears to be possibly correct for the engine
Cosmetic damage
Note bent fin
Unknown sealant. Carberator was operating correctly on this engine.
