69' Type "O" HD 28 spline axle shafts for W30/31. Has the single taper in shaft identifying them as the HD type for TO (3.91) or TM (3.42) coded rears for W30/31 application. Splines not twisted, shafts not bent, and bearings seem to not need replacing, however bearing outer seals (o rings) will need to be replaced. I removed them from a customers 69' W30 rear end who had me install a Chevy 12 bolt rear as he was going to start using slicks. If I remember right the car had 50,000 to 60,000 miles when I did the swap back in 1993. Do not have the housing/gears/posi., as I sold all that to someone and did not need the axle shafts. Will only sell as a pair. Figure $50-75 or more for shipping depending on your zip. Will ship UPS $400 for the pair

The one with the outer seal is a 1970 shaft.
The 67-69 had the sealed bearing.
There should be numbers cast on the inner side of the wheel flange.What are they?

Completely did not notice "I assumed they were a match cause they were in the same box". Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, Ok, now where are the other two? Trying to figure this out and "why would I do that" ????

I guess that is what happens when you do not notice things like this when you should have, when you are 68 years old.

I will need to clean up the inner side of the flange and get those cast numbers for you to peruse for me. Thanks
