71-72 ram air hood for sale

71-72 ram air hood for sale

heres a 71-72 original hood for sale, no rust, has a couple of craks in the metal by the hood latch opening, fiberglass is good, needs a little tlc located in chicago chris 773 418 0330 $1200 OBO

Was the glass repaired in the back,or are the pictures giving an illusion?
Are you able to crate & ship?

the glass was repaired in the rear corner and i think in the front corner and the indent for the rear trim was filled , the metal is rust free got a better camera more pics later today

You bet! Originally I planned on buying the hood but didn't have funds in the cutlass account. So he said I could have it if I took a couple other things off his hands.

Needed a bit of TLC and some paint but looks great on my car now.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but if anyone got some OAI hoods, sports steering wheels, maybe some SII rims, Oldsmobile signs that are taking up to much room, let me know and I'll clean up for ya!

OH it wasn't OAI, it was a W-29 hood. Louvers and decals.

I shoulda specified. I was planning on Going OAI, but then i realized what i would cost, and i had other stuff i NEEDED to do on my olds (Steering, suspension, ETC)

Hood

I bought the hood from Chris. I do have one I will be getting rid of. It is currently at a restoration place in Wis.,A little crusty underneath, and a few rust holes.There was some repair to the front of the nose, and a few cracks at the front in the fiberglass.If your interested I think I have pics I can send.LMK
