Crane PowerMax cam and lifter kits feature cams with lobe patterns designed to balance intake and exhaust flow. Their unique profiles produce maximum low, mid, and upper rpm power. Many PowerMax cams are designed to maximize the effects of nitrous oxide, supercharger, and turbocharger systems.
In the picture it looks like rust is on the cam it's some protectant.
