Misc. NOS Full Size Olds Parts

I have a lot of miscellaneous 50's, 60's and '70's NOS full size Olds parts that I've had for years.
I finally took time to start looking up and photographing them. There are too many to list in this thread, so
I've created a Photobucket album with descriptions. If you click the following link:

http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i3...20NOS%20Parts/

It will take you to a Photobucket screen where all you need to do is click the red "SLIDESHOW" button in the upper right of the screen.
This will begin the slide show.
If you'd like larger pics, click the blue text that says "FULL SCREEN" at the right.
A description is directly below each photo.

You can check out what's there so far, but, I'll be updating as I photograph and identify more of them, so
you may want to check back from time to time over the next few weeks.

If you find something you can use, contact me via this thread.
(I'm relatively new on this site, so I don't know another way to communicate if there is one.)

Not looking to get rich on this stuff, just trying to make some room and recover some of my investment.

Parts

I am looking for arm rests for a 69 delta 88 2 door. Also need a sideview mirror. If you have any other 69 delta parts let me know. Your photo bucket keeps erroring on me maybe it's too big.

Thanks,
Rich

Nice selection. What do you want for the '67 Delta 88 tail light bezel?

Also, I'm looking for a license plate illuminating lamp for a '73 full-size. It's possible other early 70's full-size would work. If you have anything and could post a photo, I could tell if it would fit.

Thank you.

Hi Rich,
That "98" armrest is the only one I have.

I only have a '67 and '69 Cutlass/4-4-2 remote control side mirrors.
Both are used, but, nice shape.
I really don't know if the Delta uses the same mirror.
In fact I was just editing pics of them to list in the "Parts for Sale" forum today.
If you want to look later today, let me know if you can use it.

I'm trying to get time to identify some more parts. I'll keep you in mind if I find more '69 Delta stuff.

I'm not sure why you're getting an error on the photobucket slide show.
I jut tried it and it worked OK. What sort of error are you getting?

Hi Jaunty,
$20.00 + shipping for the bezel.
As for the license plate light, I haven't seen anything like that so far,
but, if I do I'll let you know.
Thanks for inquiring.

Hey, I'd forgotten about this. If you still have that '67 Delta 88 tail light bezel for $20, I'm interested. Where in West Virginia are you? I'm not that far from the Parkersburg area, and it might be worth driving over to get it to save on shipping and for you to have to package it. PM me if you prefer. Thank you.

Hi Guys.
Thought I'd try and bring this ad back to life.
Except for a few carburetor kits, I still have everything.
Sorry, I haven't made any major additions to the original list as I had promised.
Been pretty busy and been out of town a lot.
I hope to add some more stuff as soon as the cold snap warms up a bit
so I can get outside to take pics.

Jaunty, I'm in Charleston, West Virginia and, yes, I still have the bezel.
Probably wouldn't be worthwhile to come after it since I'm over an hour south of Parkersburg.
Let me know what you want to do.

Jaybird, as soon as i can up date the list, I'll bring this thread back to the top again.
I have a lot of small parts.
It's very time consuming to get good pics and descriptions and add them to Photobucket.

You're about 1.5 hours south of me. I was in Charleston in October for the Rod Run, and I brought my '73 Custom Cruiser. Charleston is actually where I bought the car from the original owners.

It might be worth the drive as I have another reason to travel to Charleston. I'll PM you with the details.

This may no longer be especially relevant, as it was on older post and the mirror may not even be available any longer, but in '67, there were differences in the base plates between the Cutlass and fullsize series mirrors...I bought a mis-advertised fullsize remote mirror off Ebay earlier this year and that is how I know (good news is I did get a refund and did subsequently find the right one).

Based on what I know of the door "concavity" between the A and B/C series cars where the mirrors mount, I'd guess the same thing applies to other years from 65-70 inclusive and least.

I actually have 2 of the same fender. that's about it for '42 parts.

I also have a pair of NOS '41 grilles. I've heard them called "waterfalls"
grilles.
I'm glad you reminded me. I need to list those also. Forgot I had them.

By the way, Oldsguy is right, that IS a really sharp '42!

Good point , Aliens, and one I frankly haven't considered on the '67 mirrors.
I know a similar problem exists with the side mirrors on the 1968-72 Cutlass/4-4-2.
Visually,1968-72 are all identical (rally mirrors not inclusive), but, the base of the '69-69 pedestal
is different from the '70-72 due to the different profiles of the doors at the mounting point,
much like the same problem you mention about the '67 mirrors.
I have several '67 remote-control mirrors.
I need to inspect them more closely to see if there is a noticeable difference.
Thanks for the tip.

Hi NorTown,
No need to thank me. My motives are somewhat selfish.
I'd rather see these parts put to use than continue
to take up valuable storage space in my garage.
Plus, it's nice to get a little of my investment back.

When you say you're not having much luck on Photobucket,
do you mean you're having trouble accessing my pics?

Sorry, I don't have any of the items you mentioned.

Do you still have the red '66 98 tail light lens? If yes, how much? You can send me PM if you wish. Thanks, Bruce

Question

Hey Ed!
SORRY I lost this thread for a long time!! DOH! Anyhoo, do you happen to have a PASSENGER Side Exterior Mirror for a '72 Ninety-Eight? (I really MISS one over there whenever I'm backing my huge beasts up! ) How about Tail Lights for a '72 Ninety-Eight??) Oh, and yes -- I've been having trouble getting YOUR "PhotoBucket Site" to work for me... Let me know. I'm sure others are curious as to what you may have left now...

I thank you again too -- "Selfish Motives" or not; you're helping all of us out!!

Thanks!

Sorry, but, I think the newest thing I had was 1975.
I no longer have these parts in my possesion. A friend in West Chester, Pa. now has them.
If someone is interested in any of these parts, I can put you in touch with him.
