1969 Cutlass heater box in bad shape

My 1969 Olds Cutlass convertible needs a better heater box. My old one is pretty eaten up.
I’m looking for a better one? Any one out there have one for sale?

There are a lot of us with non-air cars in the south. Back then air conditioning whether in a house or car wasn't near as popular as it is today.

Agreed, roughly 1970 was the turning point, most likely. More '69 and before cars did not have air, and more '70 up cars had air than did not. It was a big extra expense, back in the day. Frankly prefer the simplicity of an older non air car.

Lol. Neat. They had all sorts of dealer and aftermarket add - ons then, for ventilation and cooling.
