Try your local fastener store they generally have a good selection, thats where the body shops get a lot of theirs. Take what you have to match up against what they have some times two fasteners look differant but will do the same job....Tedd

In NJ and as much as I'd love to take a road trip, I don't think it will happen any time soon. If you could salvage any fasteners from the car, I would compensate you for your efforts.

Went through the Auveco catalog and came up short. Did have the trim fasteners with fixed stud but with 10-24 thread.

Good idea on the Tri 5. I'll see what they have. I was told some of these are unique to 56 olds, however as stated, another part may 'work' just as well

After going through boxes and a parts car I have, here are the latest needs:

Need:
1) Trim connectors (plate) w/ stud in center. Only for lower 1/4 trim. 2 different heights 1" & 1 3/8". 2.75 & 3" respectively. Need 2 of each.

2) Trim end pieces w/ stud on end - need 4 of these

3) Rectangular ones for door (square receiving hole in door) - Only need 1. so close.

4) Typical GM trim fasteners w/ 12-24 stud and not 10-24 as most are now
Sliding and fixed stud.

Need just 1 slider. 3/4" overall length. For upper 1/4 trim piece that curves to window. Also need the wide flange 12-24 nuts that go with these. need about 10. Any standard clips with 12-24 thread would be nice. Have newer ones w/ 10-24 thread if the OE ones are unavail.

I know someone has to have some of these pieces here.

Good to hear, if you don't mind list your sources so others going down the same path may be able to find them also.

Sure

1) Trim connectors (plate) w/ stud in center - made myself

2) Trim end pieces w/ stud on end - made myself

3) Rectangular ones for door (square receiving hole in door) - found between my car and parts car. Wound up using a different kind of fastener in the end as I felt it was a better solution.

4) Typical GM trim fasteners w/ 12-24 stud and not 10-24 as most are now
Sliding and fixed stud. - Used new Auveco units with 10-24 studs where I did not have originals.

5) Any others not pictured that may be needed -

In the end, the aftermarket resto hardware suppliers kinda fell flat. Used my local resources and creativeness to find a solution to the issue.
