Black Convertible Top Glass Rear Window 68-72
Like it says. Maybe someone out there ordered a complete top & the rear window was in good shape so they have one laying around. I need the whole curtain not just the glass.....duh
Some knucklehead previous owner of my car replaced the top & not the rear window..... I don't know what the hell they were thinking......
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike
Back in the corner of my garage I've got the factory glass from a 1969 442 convertible, but it has a deep scratch in it. Its just the glass though. I've a buddy who works in a uphostery shop who told me every time they've tried to replace just the glass they have warrenty issues. Maybe its the curtain your talking about, but getting the top to stay connected to the glass is a problem they've had. John

I'm looking for the whole curtain with the glass. I'm a pack rat & have a spare glass from a parts car too (in addition to the glass that's currently on the back curtain). I kind of figured this was a long shot but I'm trying to see if anyone has it before I got out and buy a new one. I tried to buy one from Legendary but the salesman told me you have to "match the zippers". Since then I'm pretty sure I've convinced myself that there is no zipper on these tops although I haven't removed mine yet to be sure. I don't think he knew what he was talking about & probably cost himself a sale because I was all set to buy it.
If I end up buying it new I'll try to find whoever makes the tops, not a reseller like Legendary.

On the earlier '60's GM's the plastic window unzipped and the top part dropped down into the well for a wide open window...'68's don't have that feature with the glass window...will be looking for a top for my rag this year also...
