Looking for Olds V6 reverse rotation water pump

Hello, I have been collecting parts to build a serpentine belt conversion to put onto my 455.

Unfortunately the suppliers stopped making the water pump.

It was originally put on the v6 olds diesel engine during the early 80's

Does anybody have one of these they would like to sell, either new or used ? thanks.

I went through this years ago with a 60° chevy v6. You might find it easier to swap impellers. They press on and off very easy.

Hi 66 Jetstar, I have pulled apart a standard rotation water pump. I don't think an impeller change out will reverse it. Looks like the housing is what determines the coolant flow.

That has not been my experience. I can't speak for oldsmobile specifically, but there were all sorts of GM engines that were in production when serpentine belts came out, and 95% required a reverse flow water pump, non of which had a housing change....
