Windshield Wiper Motor Clip - 66 442

I finished rebuilding the Wiper Motor and Washer Pump on my 66 Project, but I have lost the little clip that holds the wiper transmission arm to the wiper crank arm. If anyone has a spare, I could sure use one.

No I checked everywhere. I did find two places selling them for around 25-30 on ebay, and A couple links for other places but they only sell in bulk, like a box of 100pcs

Hi RandyS...
I know this post is a little old, but I am also trying to rebuild my 66' 442 windshield wiper motor & pump...and was wondering if you had a photo of your completed project? I am trying to find the correct paint color of the components .. that make up the finished assembly

Sure, here ya go. If I recall correctly, I used Eastwood Detail Grey on the body, and Rustoleum Silver on the motor housing. I have no idea if those are the exact colors of a NOS unit, I just thought it looked nice........... (please ignore the dust......)

Perfect Randy... That's what I am looking to do also!
BTW, is that washer pump new? If so where did you purchase from?
Nobody seems to have that style of pump (for the round canister wiper motor)... anywhere.

Hi Brett..
My wiper motor is good, just the washer pump is iffy ... some times it works.. some times it doesn't. But wow you have 2 off of a 66' 442? Looks like the head unit is white or black, do you know which is the correct color?

You are right, I searched and couldn't find anything. I bought mine off of eBay a few years ago. You can purchase a rebuild kit for yours if that is helpful. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...61-06&_sacat=0 Also, there is a solenoid latching mechanism under the black cover that can get gunked up over time. Remove the black cover and spray it with parts cleaner and it may start working properly for you.

Sorry to interrupt this post guys but maybe one of you knows if they repop the plastic socket that goes between the wiper motor armature and the blade armature ?
