Most of the classes (including that one) turn into an 8.50 or 10.0 index if you want to podium. I don't have a cage and I'm not consistent, so not going to win anything.

I’m starting to make a list of spare items to take on drag week. What are everyone’s recommendations? The car has a new engine, new trans, new rear end, new driveshaft, new fuel system, new brakes. I’m thinking a few suspension parts, ignition parts, gaskets, but what else?

Take anything that you won't find in a standard parts store (MSD dist pickup, bronze distributor gear, etc) . Same goes with special tools or fluids you might need. I have a couple of rockers, lifters, and pushrods, too. I was fighting with that damn fitech 💩 last year. Hopefully, it goes a little smoother.
If you eat a blue M&M in the afternoon, you can drop a deuce before checking out of the hotel

I'm from Chicago and travel to Indy often for work, I may have to schedule a "business trip." Can spectators just show up for a day? I see they offer a Drag Pack to be a spectator for all the events, I'd only be able to attend one.

Just got my rule pack. The tracks are open 8a-2p this year, except Friday is 7:30a-6p, racing 10a-6p.
I'll be running Stick Shift and Street Race Big Block Naturally Aspirated, Class D.
Congratulations to the peckerwoods that killed the forum. You did it. Good for you!

Fixed some last minute items tonight. Gonna put some miles on tomorrow and if everything goes well I will head out Sunday morning. Hey Fleming, i am sending you a PM with my info. I live about 20 minutes from Cordova dragway and I have a shop with a hoist in case you need anything.

We made it. 6 police cars were chasing crackhead shoplifters through the lobby awning when we pulled up to the hotel. Cops told us to unload the roof.

Very nice !!!! Wish I could have made it to Byron to watch as that's my home track. But I took days off for Indy division finals week prior. Nice to see you make it this year with no major issues
