Oil pump

Just curious about oil pump for 455 olds block engine.

I know with BBc what we use, just wondering with say a a 600Hp engine, is a standard Mellings ok or do you guys turn to a High Volume Mellings?

Don't know as this time? What is the difference clearances for each pump?

You might need the HV pump if your clearances are on the loose side. Personally I always default to the HV. Only downside to me is you lose a smidge of power compared to the standard pump. But you get the bolt-on pickup
