Headers

hello all !!! I can't seem to find headers for my W-31. Anyone know whom makes them in the 1 3/4 primaries, 3" collector sizes? Seems like HOOKER doesn't manufacture them anymore, Hedman has a 3-4 month wait

I ran into the same issue. I ended up buying American Racing Headers 1-7/8" primaries for my 374. Give them a call. They might have, or make, you some 1-3/4" primary headers or recommend another size. You will not be disappointed. Great product and people.

I ordered my ARH 9/7/23; still don't have them.

They have plenty of time to go racing though.

The only headers I see available are the Flowtech ones. Thin flanges that requires double gaskets and rust quickly is my experience. The Chinese stainless for $200 shipped fit the 350 in my 70. If you can find a set, thick flanges, nice welds and stainless! They do hang a bit low, technically a 455 header copy, fine with the stock springs and tight around the starter. Modification around the drivers side motor mount was needed on mine. Others, including a set put in G body needed no modifications at all. I also just had to slightly clamp a tube to fit the Wix 51258 oil filter. Also too close to use my pan mounted dipstick on my Canton pan, bummer. All par for the course with headers. Not hard to slightly beat and heat $200 headers. The $2100+ ARH headers is a different story.
