Hello,
I've been looking online everywhere for the main bearings MB5514AM 040 for a 1979 Cadillac Seville 5.7l
Even called King Bearings and I've heard they've discontinued the part.
If anyone here knows where I can buy it or if anyone here is selling it please contact me.
I'm looking for the part for my father and he has a very sad looking beautiful cadillac open at the car shop for a while now.

Those are the same bearings that Kirid is looking for to use in his 330 and they are basically not available. I checked all of the major manufacturers for him.

The only other choice is to have the crankshaft reground to .060 Apparently Egge has .060 bearings

Your machinist owes you a crankshaft. They are not available.

How do you know that a machinist was even involved with this ?????? Maybe the crank is worn badly and the machinist is telling him it needs to go to .040 ? Maybe the repair shop is trying to patch something that is beyond patching ?

To the original poster . . . . a 350 crank kit should be pretty easy to find and will probably be the best route in the long run.
