thermostat housing

will a thermostat housing from a 1966 330 work on a 1972 350,also i want to put a fuel filter on,should it go between fuel pump and tank or between pump and carb.thanks for replies.

It will bolt on, there variations, the curved hose is available for the short outlet style. Install the fuel filter before the pump.

There is a filter of sorts on the fuel pick up inside the tank. Some folks put the "add on" fuel filter before the fuel pump, others put it between the pump and the carb. The safer place would be before the pump but plenty of us have had success placing it in a safe area between the pump and the carb. Stay away from the glass filters and also the plastic ones. I would use only the metal filter for safety reasons.

FYI same as above on my 66 Cutlass 330. My filter is after the pump and only use the metal inline filter. No problem so far and runs fine.
